Ryan Fitzpatrick

Ryan was born, raised, and currently lives in Jamestown, NY, where he enjoys operating his restaurants, investing in the local community, and spending time with his wife, Kelsea, and two sons, Calvin and Oliver.

Ryan has been working in the food industry for nearly two decades, being involved with many roles and responsibilities across many kinds of restaurants. Ryan received his Associates in Business from Jamestown Community College, and entered the world of entrepreneurship when he bought Phil n’ Cindy’s Diner in 2021. In 2024, he was awarded Restaurant of the Year from the Chautauqua County Chamber of Commerce

Nate Margaglio

Nate Margaglio was born and raised in Jamestown, NY, and left for college to Buffalo, NY. At the University in Buffalo, he earned his Bachelors in Mathematics and Masters in Computer Science. Nate then moved to Pittsburgh, PA, where he is in his final semester of his MBA program from Carnegie-Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business.

Nate has been a full-time software engineer since graduating from undergrad in 2016, and he currently works as the Head of Cloud Engineering at Carnegie Robotics. Outside of his day job, Nate has been engaged in entrepreneurship through investing in, and helping manage, business ventures with Ryan, leading to the formation of F&M.

When Nate isn’t in school or working, he’s either spending his time exploring restaurants and coffee shops in Pittsburgh with his fiancée, Aurora, enjoying the outdoors with his family, or trying to relax with his best friends, the Fitzpatricks.

Current Ventures

  • The Taco Company represents F&M's first major venture. Conceptualized in early 2023, The Taco Company is a full-service Tex-Mex restaurant started inspired by Jamestown's legendary Tex-Mex restaurant, Taco Hut. After it's closure in 2020, Taco Hut's head manager, Heather Gregory, joined Ryan Fitzpatrick's team at Phil n' Cindy's where customers raved about her tacos and relentlessly asked when they would be available again.

    After months of proving the concept at Phil n' Cindy's with their Thursday "Taco Nights", Ryan and Nate decided to take the plunge and open a full-service restaurant dedicated to serving the best tacos in town. The Taco Company opened in the summer of 2024 and has been successful in bringing back the flavors and service the people of Jamestown have been missing.

  • Phil n' Cindy's Lunch is a casual breakfast and lunch diner that has been a staple in Jamestown for decades. Originally opened by Phil and Cindy, the restaurant was passed down to Ryan Fitzpatrick in 2021. Ryan has been working at the diner since he was just a kid, and had planned on taking over the business when Phil and Cindy retired.

    After years of learning how to run the business, cook the food, and serve the customers, Ryan was well prepared to take over the business and has been successful in maintaining the restaurant's reputation for great food and friendly service. Phil n' Cindy's Lunch is a favorite among locals and visitors alike, and has been a great platform for Ryan to test new concepts and build relationships with customers and employees.

  • F&M Foods is the working name for the food manufacturing and distribution arm of F&M. Located in the upstairs of 212 N Main St. above The Taco Company, F&M Foods was first conceptualized in 2023 when the building was being acquired, and represents F&M's first foray into food production and distribution. F&M Foods is being piloted through serving The Taco Company and Phil n' Cindy's Lunch, and is exploring opportunities to expand into other markets and industries.

Where We Are

Nate operates out of Pittsburgh, PA and Ryan out of Jamestown, NY. We focus on the areas of and around Pittsburgh, PA, Buffalo, NY, and Cleveland, OH, although we’re open to exploring opportunities anywhere in the country.
